Homeowners need help!
This homeowner was in desperate need and could not find anyone to help. There were no extended family members, no extra money, and the individual was handicapped to the point they could not do the work themselves. We were able to assess the scope of the project, determine the minimum required standard of living, and repair the home to make it safer and healthier for the homeowner.
We need donors!
People with compassionate and giving hearts provide our ability to show the love and grace of Jesus Christ to the community of Altus, OK. Money is the first people think of as a donation, but it can be a lot more subtle and more tangible. We need equipment, tools, supplies, and other in-kind donations to help people in the community. Donating money can be done through our donation page and other donations will be taken on a case by case basis; give us a call to have a conversation about our current needs.
Volunteers make the world go round!
While donations are critical to enabling the mission, our volunteers are the essential piece of the equation to get it done. People is one of the reasons this organization exists. People care about people, volunteers do the work to help homeowners in a tangible way. Working in Community
Our volunteers practice religion differently, worship differently, and have different beliefs. However, when we come together to help a homeowner, we are there as one body of Christ with one thought, to be a blessing to the homeowner and give glory to God. Some of our volunteers don’t practice a religion but know the benefit of people coming together in community to help the community.
